CLAUDIA
In regards to my final ideas, this really does reflect what I wanted it to look like, however I feel there are some aspects that I could have done better. Generally just shooting the images - I should have really booked out a different studio with more freedom with where the lights can go; I was very limited to what I could do with the lighting as it was fastened to a particular spot on the ceiling. Despite this mishap I feel my mood was captured exactly the way I wanted it to be, clean and sharp with a hint of darkness to it. I should have really made the contour on the cheeks slightly more prominent as the flash really washed it out and I wanted my models face to look tired and thin. If I was to have more time this is something that I would definitely change. However I don't think this is that much of a big deal to have to re do the whole shoot again as I am happy enough with the outcome.
QUENTIN
In comparison I think my Quentin is much more effective than my Claudia, it may be because of the type of lighting as Quentin's is a lot more dramatic as it is side lit. The only issue is I think I prefer my practice one in regards to the images taken - the contour on this version is a lot stronger which also makes it have an element of fashion in it, I really like that aspect of it because it suits my chosen show to some extent; I feel American Horror story has no limit and there is always an artistic feel to some of the characters throughout this series and throughout the whole show. The thing that I would love to change if I was going to do it again would be slightly decrease the amount of contour that ive applied under the chin as its slightly to heavy and without the correct light it does nothing for my model. I am extremely happy with how both my designs have turned out even though they both have obvious flaws.
